We are currently in the process of getting some numbers for the Z0MZ production. It should be within the week. We are almost there! I am reviewing the box samples as we speak. I'm also trying to keep the price point as low as possible. (Hence the large gap of time between our first announcement and now.) At this point I can tell you the first release will be an extremely limited run! This platform character has a tremendous amount of potential to it. I want to make sure it starts out right. Our new platform figs are called Z0MZ. Z0MZ are programmable and customizable robotic minions at your disposal! Z0MZ can be much more terrifying than a walking sack of mindless flesh. These automatons can run! As we all know real zombies can't. ;P Z0MZ can be whatever their creators choose them to be. A Z0MZ disposition and primary function is totally in the hands of the end-user. ::: DYNOMIGHT NYC: character design update [10.10.11]
Our awesome little sculpt is almost complete! It's our first piece sculpted in 3D software. I wanted to make a model that can be scalable for future use if need be. If all goes accordingly, a teaser image of the proto may be available a week or two after NYCC. We still need production quotes, but the first hurdle has almost been cleared! It's the most important piece of the puzzle. I am having a bit of a critical eye on the whole project in trying to make sure everything looks top notch before we take it to the production side. We need to make sure all our ducks are in a row. Slow and steady. Isn't that what wins the race? Stay tuned! --J-R00 :D

Very exciting things are happening! We are currently in the process of having a 3D sculpt made of our next project. I just reviewed the first round of the model, and it's looking awesome! ;D If all goes accordingly, and things are within the budget, we should hopefully have a new character in production and on the shelves by early next year. ::: DYNOMIGHT NYC: Large Project in the works [6.14.11]
A Letter From the Editor:
As many have noticed, ALL has been quiet over here at the Dynomight NYC camp for quite some time. This has been all for good reason! There is a very, very, large project bubbling in our cauldron. This will be the largest we have ever done to date, if all goes accordingly.
Since our inception in 2007, Dynomight NYC has been about collaboration and creating independent character based toys. We broke into the scene with Bumrush. It was well received by the toy community. That made us very happy. And how could it not be? Erick Scarecrow and his team killed it on the production. No lie. We then did a fantastic resin collaboration with The Sucklord (CJC). (The kids loved the team-up!) This guy produced some fantastic work for us. It was a very awesome experience having our product manufactured by this guy. After that project sold out we turned to the resin queen over at Pretty In Plastic for our OHA! release. Once again the feedback from everyone was fantastic! We are very pleased that we had the experience to work with such amazing and talented people on our projects so far.
So now what?
...Welllll...
I would like our intellectual property to be in as many hands and homes as possible. There are a few options available to achieve this. All of them are thoroughly being explored. SO, with that being said...keep the peepers posted on us. We are still here! I haven't slept for days conceptualizing and designing the crap out of these model sheets. (I do love the character design process.) Things are moving a little more slowly than normal on my end. Unfortunately I have no interns or an in-house design staff to help expedite the process. LOL! It's just me. :D

Chauskoskis just melted my brain with his amazing Bumrush custom! What can I say about this guy that hasn't already been said? He is one of finest toy customizers out there. His style is so refreshing. It was also particularly awesome to see a minimalistic approach to the piece. Just a few tweaks here and there and it still came out looking like a masterpiece! Slow and steady wins the race! Our Hero, APPRENTICE! colors have been finalized and applied very roughly to a sacrificial character statue.
